Exhibitions
The ongoing Artscape exhibition at the County Administrative Center is coordinated by the Riverside Arts Council as part of its Art in Public Places Program. The bi-annual exhibitions are designed to showcase the unique and inspiring aspects of life in Riverside County. The artwork featured can be found in the main lobby, executive office lobby and the board of supervisors lobby.
The purpose of the Artscape exhibition is to show the wide range of talented artists found within Riverside County and to illustrate how art can be inter-woven into our daily lives. The Art in Public Places Program is dedicated to taking art out of the museum and placing it where people can view it on a regular basis. The artists featured come from a variety of backgrounds, and are representative of the diversity found within the Inland Empire's population.
The current exhibit runs from March until August 2013 featuring artwork by:
Robert Ball, Teresa Bone, Andrew Bosserman, Pat Corbin-Chao, Rachael Dzikonski, Fryda Fernandez, Daniel Kagle, Steven Long, Subodh Maheshwari, Kenneth Marley, Donna Morin, Zabet Pucket, Carlos Puma,
Derrick Rethgeber, Cindy Rinne & Karen Soon

The Riverside Arts Council has expanded its Art in Public Spaces Series to the Riverside Plaza with the Riverside Arts Project. This new gallery features rotating exhibitions put together by guest curators from arts organizations and educational institutions. The benefits of the project include building connectivity between a diverse array of organizations and a new audience base. It also brings art into a non-traditional space making it accessible to a broader population.
The Riverside Arts Project is located in the Riverside Plaza at 3639 Riverside Plaza Dr. ste 508, Riverside, CA 92506 between El Torito and Chico's.
