God's Peculiar People La Sierra University Drama The prodigal son returns home and he’s not alone. David’s family thinks he’s bringing a girl home for the weekend – but Leslie turns out to be a boy. Mayhem ensues in this gently satiric examination of the vagaries of organized religion in a time of innocence. The play pokes gentle fun of the peculiarities of the Seventh-day Adventist church while provoking a wider discussion of the role of women, patriarchal authority, tribalism, dogma, grace and inclusion vs. exclusion in a church setting. Tickets are $20 general admission and $10 for LSU faculty and staff.

Musical Trip Around The World The Raincross Master Chorale
The Raincross Master Chorale will take listeners on a journey around the world at Calvary Presbyterian Church. This concert has an international focus, with favorites such as Waltzing Matilda from Australia; Si Vas Para Chile (If You Go to Chile); and a Zambian folk tune called Bonse Aba; among many others. The chorale will share the stage with the Inland Empire Women’s Chorus, who will perform six pieces, including Java Jive. Proceeds from concerts allow the group to give scholarships to young music students.

The City of Riverside The City of Riverside in partnership with the Old Riverside Foundation, the Riverside Arts Council, the Riverside Downtown Partnership and the Mission Inn Museum and Foundation are hosting the City’s second annual Doors Open event. Doors Open events began over 30 years ago in France and has since spread across Europe, North America and Australia. These events provide free access to captivating historic sites that are often closed to the public. By opening the doors to these architectural gems, event organizers hope to increase awareness of historic architecture and the community’s collective heritage.

Flabob's DC3 Fly-in Flabob's Flying Circus A weekend fly-in of Douglas DC-3, C-47s and variants. Aircraft will be open for tours. It is not a formal airshow, rather a gathering of DC-3 enthusiasts. Flabob Airport in Riverside will host as many aircraft as possible, these will be displayed up close and personal with no ropes and no crowd lines. Tickets are $10 per day.
