The Nutcracker Inland Pacific Ballet Critically acclaimed Inland Pacific Ballet's The Nutcracker comes to life in this magnificent holiday ballet with dazzling sets, beautiful costumes and more than 80 dancers on stage. This annual yuletide favorite tells the story of a young girl named Clara who receives a magical nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve and sets out on a wondrous journey to the Land of the Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. Toy soldiers, life-sized dancing dolls and a fantastic dream with battling mice, dancing snowflakes, waltzing flowers and the delightful Sugar Plum Fairy stir the imagination.

Big Band Concert La Sierra University La Sierra University’s big band, under direction of Giovanni Santos, will perform a concert in Hole Memorial Auditorium. UCR Barbara & Art Culver Center of the Arts Diego Echeverria’s film skillfully represents the challenges residents of the Southside faced: poverty, drugs, gang violence, crime, abandoned real estate, racial tension, single-parent homes and inadequate local resources. The complex portrait also celebrates the vitality of this largely Puerto Rican and Dominican community, showing the strength of their culture, their creativity and their determination to overcome a desperate situation. Beautifully restored for the 30th anniversary premiere at the New York Film Festival, this documentary is an invaluable piece of New York City history.

Preserving the Legacy: Birth of the Mission Inn Foundation and a National Historic Landmark Mission Inn Foundation & Museum The exhibit examines the birth of the Mission Inn Foundation. The non-profit Foundation evolved from managing the struggling hotel to preserving, interpreting and promoting the cultural heritage of the now flourishing hotel. Unposed: Street Photography from the CMP's Collection
California Museum of Photography In Unposed, student-curator Kaytlyn Van Dorn-Hanson explores the curious ways in which fleeting moments are captured in street photography. Unposed, often-unaware subjects create new, exceptional juxtapositions. The exhibition features approximately thirty examples of street photography from the CMP's collection, by artists Robert Frank, Lee Friedlander, William Klein, Garry Winogrand, Walker Evans, Elliott Erwitt, Manuel Carrillo, Robert Doisneau, Andy Warhol and Erich Lessing.
