Riverside Art Museum In Riverside Art Museum's first augmented-reality exhibition, comic book artist and author Nathaniel Osollo will “install” his The Shadow People Are Here exhibit throughout the museum. His artwork will only be visible on your smartphone using the free Aurasma app (be sure to follow "TheShadowPeople"). Nathaniel will lead a talk and tour during Artswalk and will be on hand to sign his second augmented reality comic book on the Shadow People, which will be released in the fall. Come explore and find the Shadow People haunting the museum.

Into the Mystic: The Quest of Six West Coast Artists
CBU Gallery The CBU Gallery in downtown Riverside will host an exhibit titled “Into the Mystic: The Quest of Six West Coast Artists.” The exhibit will showcase 30 pieces by West Coast artists Noah Buchanan, Steve Dzerigian, Anne Marie Karlsen, Guy Kinnear, Laura Lasworth and Duncan Simcoe (CBU director of the gallery). The exhibit represents an inspiration of spiritual themes, visionary imagery and drawing insights from transcendent encounters. The art includes painting, photography, installation, mixed media and digital configuration.

The 1940's Radio Hour
California Baptist University Presented by Wallace Theatre at California Baptist University,The 1940’s Radio Hourcaptures the spirit of that “bygone era” when the world was at war and pop music meant Strike Up the Band and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. In the play, the harassed producer copes with an obnoxious lead singer, the delivery boy who wants a chance in front of the mike, the second banana who dreams of singing a ballad and the trumpet playing sound effects man. General admission is $15. Admission for seniors, students and alumni is $12.

The Marriage of Bette and Boo
The Gestalt Theatre Project Christopher Durang comedies like "Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You" have been charming audiences for years and his success only continued with his 2013 Tony win for "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike." Now The Gestalt Theatre Project stages one of his earlier, and much darker, works. The winner of several Obie Awards in 1985, this painfully funny absurdist comedy takes a once hopeful couple through twenty years of married life, with all of its conflicts, disappointments and tragedies, as told through the eyes of their only son. Design By Nature Riverside Metropolitan Museum Plants and animals always seem to construct the right tools for survival and they do it with environmentally friendly mechanisms and materials. Every day, scientists are studying such topics as ways to use suction cups like the gecko does to climb walls or what snails teach us about making armor. Join UC Riverside Bourns College of Engineering professors and students as they share lessons learned from nature about the design of the next generation of engineering products. Live specimens of animals that inspire research will be on hand for observation. This a great opportunity for middle and high school students to learn more about science and science careers. University Orchestra Concert
La Sierra University Orchestra The La Sierra University Orchestra, under direction of Maestro Dean Anderson, will give its fall concert featuring the talents of award-winning pianist Jonathan Mamora, a senior piano performance major and recipient of numerous regional and international prizes. Ruby Sundays Paint 'n Sip Mission Tobacco Lounge Live art lesson hosted by local artist, Reanna Ruby. Learn to paint the Day of the Dead mask and panel in the attached picture.
